Basirhat zonal convention held today with a grand success.

Basirhat zonal convention of group of NFPE held today with a grand success at Hasnabad Post Office ground. 230 comrades participated the program. After flag hoisting by Com Rasidul Islam, Dvnl . president of GDS union,Veteran leader Com Nirmal Chandra Dey inaugurate the convention. Com Subrata Mustafi initiated and five  comrades participated in the discussion. Com Pravat Ghosh, Com Abdul Samad also participated the discussion on behalf of Divnl. Union.Com Anwesa Biswas, Com Sanatan Das, Com Tapan Bhowmik, Com Bivash Ghara and Com Amiya Bamerjee deliberated their speech. Com Asit Bangabash concluded the convention with vote of thanks.To success coming strike on 16th March, GDS membership verification and restarted the divisional agitation program from 7th February decision was taken unanimously. Com Rasidul Islam, Com Prasanta Ray and Com Bholamath Mandal were the members of presidium  of the convention.

GDS COMMITTEE REPORT - NEWS

MINISTER GRANTED PERMISSION TO PUBLISH THE GDS COMMITTEE REPORT WITH THE CONDITION THAT THE ELECTION COMMISSION'S APPROVAL SHOULD BE OBTAINED BEFORE PUBLISHING THE REPORT.

Today Directorate has informed the Secretary General, NFPE that Hon'ble Minister of Communications has granted permission to publish the GDS Committee Report with a condition that Election Commission's approval should be obtained before publishing the Report.

Directorate has also informed that they will meet the Election commission on 16^th January (Monday) and submit the letter seeking approval for publishing the GDS Committee Report.
